Unfortunately that's Photoshop and not game engine. The way the effect actually comes out is just very muddled and you can't clearly see the components anymore with a black or grey color.
We've tried to ease the gear grind with the new color:
- The total quantity of Cyan Gear is up to 12 from 11 in the previous tiers - this helps eliminates the demand for some pieces getting too high.
- The crafting recipe structure has changed - only shard-based items or current scoll-based items will be used as a crafting ingredient in new items, so you don't have the cumulative dependencies that have run out of control in the past.
- All items needed to craft a final item will drop from the same campaign mission (no more looking back to previous chapters)
So in Chapter 22 you'll get:
4 Items which use a Scroll and two other Scrap-Based items
4 Items which use a Scroll and one Scrap-Based Item
4 Scrap Items
As I said before, the Cyan gear should give a health bump to all characters, and the hope really was to take a step towards more sustainable gear grind.
