I joined several months ago, under the previous owners.
In that time the number of available heroes in total has been added to by about 20 (although we have to wait for them to arrive on our S9).
Chapters have (on my server) increased by about 5.
Meanwhile, sales no longer happen (except anniversary week), runes have stopped progressing altogether, yet I am still being gifted slots for achieving things in medals, we have lost higher levels in Explorations, and I am in fight pits or coliseums with guys more than twice, sometimes three times my power. Not so good when I have legendaries that need wins in those arenas, ditto for promotion. We still don't have master outfits or legendaries for all of the pre-existing heroes, either.
So - the game costs more in XP and energy terms to achieve things, but we are consistently getting less for our money. If I wanted to imitate real life I could just watch the news, this is a game, it's supposed to be fun, not harder work for less return.
And what is with rows in Crypt, Fight Pit and Colli having just 2 or 3 heroes at 120 or higher and calling it a lower level team? Can you not fix your own algorithm to exclude it doing this? It's one thing using the practice as a tactic in campaigns or war, but it's simply poor practice by the code writers to allow these lines into arenas where we cannot pick who we fight (Expo), where opponents are restricted (Fight Pit and Coli), or other situations where the only reason to use such a team in the first place is to bottom feed. It's not a tactic that should be supported if it tees off enough players that they will drop away from the game. Just using fewer heroes to get the stats low enough to qualify for a place in s group where you can then fill your team and wipe out everybody for the gold or points should be stopped.
But, hey ho, I guess that and my other gripes won't be addressed any time soon in a positive way, so...
