I have a guildmate who has been opted out of war multiple times now for not taking attacks. They weren't even showing as having been on. The player has insisted that they were, in fact, on, and that they were taking their attacks.
There are three possibilities here:
1) The player is actively lying to us for reasons unknown.
2) The player has some sort of time-sense issue, and genuinely believes what they say, even though it isn't true.
3) There is a bug in the system that involves short rollbacks (as long as 10 minutes), and this player happens to have been at least moderately unlucky (or it strikes lower-level accounts more often, for some reason).
Now, Occam would probably sink his teeth into the first one, but I know that there is something happening with rollbacks right now, I just don't know what, why, or how bad. Another guildmate's account lost the end of her expo, and thus lost the tokens and gold she should have had. Only a couple of fights, but 400 tokens is 400 tokens. Another had her last crypt fight of the day (and the gold that went with it, and the xp that went with fighting 5 crypt battles, and the 100 tokens besides) disappear when crypt closed for the day. So it seems clear to me that something is happening.
So my question for the devs or whoever handles these sorts of things is:
"Are there, in fact, times when the system hiccups and some/all players lose a few minutes of progress?"
Secondariliy, if so, "Is it something that specifically targets war, or are there multiple issues in play?"
Clearly the current version is not 100% stable, because there was a more considerable rollback just the other night. That's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about those little things that make us have to redo game content, and sometimes make us wonder if we're crazy because we could've sworn we already did that stuff...
