Omg... This is awesome that this is still being commented on. I posted a comment sometime last year on this... Lol
I'm from server 1. My guild ia always n forever. Every other month I am the guild leader.
Commutation is the key. I'm always on global answering questions to other players who don't know what to do.
A true leader is one who puts themselves out there helping others. It doesn't matter if it is your guild or not. If someone asks for help, help them. Don't let a person flounder if you have the knowledge. Knowledge is meant to be passed on. I communicate with other leaders if I don't know the answer to a question my fellow members ask. I also communicate with my guild members. If someone has a great idea I listen to them. If someone has an issue I listen to that too.
A guild is supposed to be a family. I have about 5 or 6 original members left in my guild from when I first started 2 years ago. (Since then many have come and gone.) Some of the people who are still playing though they may be in other guilds still ask for advice, or they have started their own guilds based on our guidelines.
Please remember our fellow leaders help out in global and in your guild. Knowledge is meant to be passed on and not hoarded. In the end we're all an online family. Know your server mates
