Currently, starting energy lineups dominate fp and coli. Most people i have seen talking about it agree that its a bad thing. Nothing has been done to solve that yet (at least that i know of) so, how could we solve this?
A hero (or legendary skill but im just gonna say hero from here on because its shorter) that delays starting would work. This hero would "delay" the start of the battle by 4 seconds or so, but heroes would still be able to fight. It would delay starting energy runes, as well as abilities like dragon slayers banner, dmans starting energy, and horse shield, as well as buffs and debuffs like kraken, and witch. Alternatively, it could just disable buffs and shields, if that is too op. However, heroes like kaiju and spider will still gain the energy from their abilities. This means that bones energy drain will not start right away, which could bring heroes like ninja back into meta (he has a 450 or so drain). Alternatively, this hero could also disable energy gain for that amount if time as well, which would bring heroes that rely on their green more to come back, as this hero would be pretty worthless if it didnt have anything to delay. This would likely bring a little balance back into the game, but it would be harder to code and would probably take alot of time before it rolls out into the game
Reworking slayers banner to a completely different ability and having energy loss scale with conservation as well would fix it much better, as well as being easier to do than the above solution. Starting energy heroes will still be useful, but not as much against drain heroes, but they will still get drained. This might bring a starting energy AND drain meta, but at least a few more heroes will be in the meta. Non-white heroes might come back a little as well, but i doubt it.
