Okay, I understand that deploying an update that is effecting guild war during a running guild war is going to mess up the whole matchmaking. I mean... yeah with proper coding you could probably have circumvented this as well, but I don't expect that.
HOWEVER, I do expect GREE to do their homework. They should have known beforehand, this would mess up the war.
There are so many steps in developing an update at which this issue should have come up and been addressed at. And there are so easy measures to circumvent the problems caused by this...
Just deploy your update BEFORE the guildwar is starting. That would have been SO easy. Tbh: I was totally expecting the update before this weeks gw started because I was so sure an update to gw mechanics would likely be causing trouble if gw was running already.
I mean... I'm not even a software developer myself. Yes I am able to code a little but I'm not a trained developer and still... I knew this was likely to happen.
What are you paying your devs for? You should charge them for messing up... they are introducing more bugs than they are fixing. But well.. this a completely different matter....
Apart from this obvious part, I think it is sad that there hasn't been any global message explaining why those problems are existing. So many players have been wondering why everything in gw is messed up. Just sending out an message shouldn't be too hard... after all, @DSHannah you told us your main concern was communications... haven't seen too much communications to the players at all though.
For me, all credit I gave you in advance is long gone.
I actually had hopes that something would improve. But I am really disappointed... just have a look at the poll by @Wilde_R_Beast about the changes to gw... there was no communications about these planned changes at all... and frankly, they are just horrible (yes, I'm only saying horrible, because I don't want to violate any forum rules by using appropriate words...)
