I do not have a complete understanding of the current rune system, but I like it.
I agree that a few tweaks and a little more documentaction would go a long way in getting more people on board with the current system.
As noted in some other posts, an indication of which stat helps/ doesn't help, and cap levels, would greatly improve the current system.
And I strongly believe that getting it right is better than getting it fast, so if the devs don't feel they have a good plan then don't put out something just to look like something got done.
I am not leaving the game.
