I know that many in my guild are getting frustrated with the drops in challenge vs boss pit. The nice thing about the first is that it’s an ascending scale that adds new items with each new level. However playing these 5 times a day 3 times a week is great for helping with enchanting. By the end of the week you might have 150 of a specific item. However the items dropped there are not some of the rarer items. The only thing 90% of these items end up being go for is enchanting, which isn’t bad. However, in boss pit, there are only 3 items that you might get 20 or so of and you only do this 1 time every 9 days. It certainly would be more helpful if the items were like challenge and built on each other. That way I don’t have to choose 1 level and get only 3 items, but instead it’s helpful to get all the lower items too. I don’t think it’s asking much since we only get 1 crack at boss pit a day. Comparatively, we might only get 60 of rarer items a week instead of the 150 of the common we get a week in challenge. Another option would be rotating items every month in challenge and boss pit. Let’s face it, with the amount of grinding that needs to be done, it’ll still take a long time to get to O8 or even cyan. But at least players won’t get bored because they feel they are making no progress with heroes because we need 100 fad diets to grind 2 pieces on the same hero. Most of my top heroes are only O2 or below and I’ve been playing more than a year now. It just shows how slow going and frustrating grinding gets. I don’t have much disposable income, so I can’t afford to go faster. The game needs to stay interesting and keep moving forward for players like me too.
