Let’s dig dipper into this.
Concerned about the number of challenge you declare in your post, because you mention boss pit and challenges level VIII and IX and right after you say 4 new levels when I count 3 missing in challenges and 2 in boss pits so 5 missing in total.
Considering that challenges I are the 3 first: easy, medium and hard (up to lvl 60 hence first cap), II: harder than hard lvl 75, III: Really Freaking Hard lvl 81, IV: insane lvl 86, V: ludicrous lvl 91, VI: nightmare lvl 96. Wretched (VII) is currently at lvl 106 but it is at lvl 101 on S6 for instance, and it’s meant to be at lvl 101. I hope it was just a typo and you’re not going to create more sync issues by leaving a challenge hole at level 101 on S1.
Boss Pit :
The 2 new difficulty levels of boss pit are accurate, on S1 we are in ludicrous so normally what’s missing: 1 nightmare Invokus and 1 nightmare Venusia for O4; 1 nightmare Aurum and 1 wretched Invokus for O5; 1 wretched Venusia and 1 wretched Aurum for O6.
-I am not sure contrary to many people that boss pit should work like challenges. Instead you should rework a bit the item split between Challenges and boss pit because even there is some sync issues along the promotion levels road:
We have 7 new items in each new chapter and 7 spot every new cap (3 in challenges, 4 in boss pit), so we need to be able to find an item in either one of them (during or after current cap).
Let’s take the item Bunny Slipers as many mentioned, it is yet in none of them so it is a boss and challenge design problem (also a campaign problem because drop rate in chapters 9 and 10 doesn’t work as intented, sorry for the off topic). But as a s1 player I know this is not an item very demanded, so this one belongs in boss pit.
On the other side Items that are used and abused needs to be in challenges, the most obvious exemple is Fat Diet, Fat Diets are in so many items in so many promotion levels that it can’t be given once every 9 days even if you double or triple the current drop rate. There are other items that are extremely needed and I hope you’ll dig into this.
-Don’t forget to include the medal for beating boss pits new levels with purple pots and rune offerings as you did with Diamonds in elite and normal campaign when you released O4.
-Unlock boss pits difficulties between stages; because it’s a limit that was introduced in the early game days when boss pit was working like challenges.
In challenges giving us all previous item is fair, have been told thousand times how incredibly frustrating it is to farm old challenges for tiara and diplomas. The idea behind giving us o6 items at o6 cap challenges is a great one. Someone in the topic was concerned about the premium players. As a premium player (vip 17), I will still have interest in leveling fast because the 2 new items at a cap are only wearable at late cap levels. So people who does level fast will be the only ones actually able to equip.
Thanks again for those needed changes, and sorry if my post sounds like I am an arrogant paternalist, but it is just double checking. I really have a lot of concern when I see among other things, contests problems weeks after weeks regarding contest points glitch, inappropriate rewards pool, and rewards delivery.
