Legendary Skills play a major role in DragonSoul. Similar to White, Green, Blue, or Purple skills, a hero must reach the associated gear tear (Orange) to unlock the orange skill, but unlike earlier tiers, a quest is unlocked at Orange which must be completed before the skill is usable.
Legendary skills are also designed after a hero's initial launch, and are often used as a balancing tool to revitalize a hero and to better develop its role / identity.
In this continuation of our DevDiscussions, I'll offer teasers / previews of upcoming skills, while pursuing feedback on quests, needed skills, and more.
To start, DragonSoul 2.10 will have at least the following 6 legendary Skills:
Berserker Mode - Dwarven Archer
Her abilities and basic attacks over-penetrate targets, damaging everything in front of her. She also gains X life steal.
Two-Trick Pony - Dark Horse
The duration of Why The Long Face is extended, and now grants an energy-shielding effect.
Bombardeer - Skeleton King
Skeledeer now explode on death, dealing magic damage to nearby enemies.
21 Gun Salute - Rot Beard
Rot Beard's ship provides support by firing a shot at Rot Beard's last target, dealing damage.
When Rot Beard dies, the ship fires a shot at each enemy in a final salute.
Soothing Melody - Wild Satyr
Satyr's basic attacks heal her and have a chance to stun her target.
Chase The Rainbow - Unicorgi
Fetch now triggers the Nyandog healing rainbow when activated and again when Unicorgi returns, healing allies twice.
