I have a lot of trouble using the forum on my android, so forgive my general response sans quotes... But thank you!
I think most players understand things won't be perfect all the time, and I think we also understand why character additions and promotions are an important part of the game for any development team.
I think it just got out of hand the past few months, and caused a domino effect of other problems.
I was being completely sincere when I mentioned that in previous months there seemed to be a lot more thought put into new character releases.. People took advantage of promotions and there was a general sense of excitement about new characters. Sure they were a little OP, but I don't remember it being to the extent of the past few months (and if it was it was addressed by the devs-- dark horse anyone?)
I think some of the replies here interpret that I'm calling for complete stagnation, and that's not the case.
What I'm asking for is that some of these balance issues be addressed and that more thought be put into new character releases, and that they not be dumped 4 at a time monthly.
I think there needs to be a focus on rotating out heros in the shops and balancing some of the characters we have (or even give some afterthought characters time in the spotlight- just an idea) before we get another big promo of new characters... Then I don't think there is much wrong with business as usual ( the previous usual) on new characters.
On crypt, I stand by my discussion earlier in the thread and support of an idea proposed by another player that will make it less of a headache for slightly less hardcore guilds.
Thank you for your very well thought out response. I can't tell you how reassuring it is to know that concerns are not falling on deaf ears.
