There is certainly justified outrage over pretty much anything and everything that has to do with CS. Tickets all by themselves are insane with responses that are ridiculously non-related; being deleted and/or merged; not being answered....ultimately CS is a giant mess as a whole.
Prior to creating the this thread, we were seeing a lot of posts and/or threads asking for direct help in resolving their tickets, which we have also explained is not within our realm of abilities. We were continually answering with the general reply along lines of we can't help with individual tickets or account issues and you’ll need to submit a ticket through the game. This is frustrating to you and GameSages because yeah, submitting tickets right now feels basically pointless.

Others have complained that having such a single large thread only buries new posts. This was not our intent. It was an effort to help people have it all in one place knowing neither GS nor posting on the forum is the avenue for getting tickets resolved.
We also thought it would be helpful to have things in a primary place based on how the forum shows posts. Typically things are displayed based on the last time you logged on. Posts will say “new” or have a number with a circle in it. Clicking on that will take you to the newest comment. There was no intent to make posts harder to see or be hidden.
If you’ve never seen something before it will go to the beginning of the thread because…well, you’ve never opened it before. If there is a number then it will go to the most recent post you haven’t read yet. This is why we felt a mega thread would be good. It would keep this topic on one convenient place for everyone to follow and recent posts wouldn’t be buried.
However, based on feedback we understand that having mega threads on particular giant issues isn’t what the community would prefer.
First, I will reiterate what Sticker Warchief already so eloquently wrote:
So with that, you are welcome to post new threads on variations of a larger issue. We do want people to feel they are able to express their thoughts. Please look around the forum to see if there is a recent thread already going because seriously wading through thread after thread with the same content is tiresome. However, we will continue to merge topics that are created within a very short time about the same thing. For example, times when the game goes down and we see multiple new threads saying things like:
“hey the game is down”
“I can’t open game”
“is the game down on server x”
“Server x isn’t working”
“who can’t log in”
“Why can’t I login to game”
Please post responsibly (I know, that sounds like a bad drunk driving ad) because we want the large and varied population of DS players to feel like this is a decent place to hang out. That’s why we have Community Guidelines to help make it be just that. In a perfect world, we wouldn’t need police, laws, censure, or policies…..and have all our games freaking work the way we’d expect. But it is what it is so let’s move forward.
