Hi guys and thanks for spotting the issue!
As has already been speculated, yes, we will re-send the correct skin item on monday (PST) to all players that have received the unusable broken item already, before we were able to fix the issue.
If you are impatient (or if you are VERY patient, this depends!) you can also contact Customer Support and they can exchange the skin individually. I can imagine they have a lot of reports on this though, so it could take a while.
