We would like to share what is planned for DragonSoul for the next 3 months of 2018. We are very excited to about the new changes going into the game and hope you are too! The update will disclose what we’ll do during the month of May - August 2018.
Pre-DragonSoul 1000 month!
We are on the Road to DragonSoul 1000. Dragonsoul 1000 marks the 1000th-day post of Dragonsoul's release (Thursday, 21st June 2018) and we will execute a number of exciting things from May onwards. Some of those things include new game features, events, exclusive deals, and more.
In preparation for DragonSoul 1000, we have some great events and features planned including:
- Welcome back sign-in bonus for players who are coming back to the game
- Pre-DragonSoul 1000 sign-in bonus available for all players
- Chapter 26: The Secret Sand Palace
New Heroes & Skins
- Introducing Digger Mole, Ancient Dwarf, Enigma Fox and some awesome new skins
June - DragonSoul 1000 Month!
Many exciting activities will happen during this month such as the following:
New 1000 day login bonus
We will be sending out awesome gifts during DragonSoul 1000 month so look out for those!
We will be releasing three new exciting features that will interconnect with each other. All three features will be released during the month of June.
Without giving too much away here is a brief summary of the features planned for release.
Brand new PvE battle system (Boss Battle)
In this mode, players will test their limits in a multi-level boss fight (Boss Battle)!
This frantic mode will give new value and purpose to all heroes, especially the least used heroes. Players will have to be strategic with their decisions on deciding which heroes will be most appropriate to take on a specific boss.
The bosses you will encounter will be a mixture of old and new and staggered released over a short time for variation. Yes, Umlaut will also be featured as the last big boss in this mode.
Boss Battle will be released during the first half of June and we'll unveil the look and launch window of each boss soon.
Here are some of the bosses that are coming to the boss battle in the future!
New skills will be introduced to provide all heroes, especially the older heroes, stronger value and purpose. The various skills planned for release will boost heroes specialities and also buff allies in a more significant way. This will allow players to experiment, utilise new lines of heroes, and think strategically when using in Boss Battles.
New Campaign mode
We will be introducing a new difficulty mode in the campaign. This campaign will include loot that is only available in this mode, tying together with Boss Battle and the New Skills to extend the gameplay cycle.
Content catch up for younger servers
We will be unlocking chapters and heroes for the younger servers and the planned schedule is as follows:
This will happen for the following reasons:
- In preparation for the new features that we have planned for June
- We will change the system so that new players will join the older servers to even out the population across all servers
- For new features in the near future. By making all servers at the same level it will allow us to have a wider range of ideas and possibilities
Special New Hero chest!
We will be releasing a new chest which will include all the recent released heroes for players to have a chance get any heroes they happened to miss out on for server 1-9 and for server 10-11 to quickly be able to obtain new heroes.
- Chapter 28 for Servers 1-10
- Chapter 25 & 26 for Server 11
Umlaut making his appearance!?
Umlaut will finally make himself present in chapter 28
Umlaut will also be making an appearance in the new Boss battle mode where players will be able to face his wrath.

We will also be releasing legendary skills for current heroes periodically as usual.
There will be some tweaks and improvements made to the existing features in the game:
- New tasks for contests
- Rework of the Gold contest
Tweaking and improving existing features
We are aware that players have been waiting patiently on the current issues with many existing features to be fixed.
We have done some investigations for certain issues that were raised by the community and we are still in the process of working out a solution as some of them are very complex and delicate.
That being said, we will make the following issues our highest priority after the release of the new features:
- Farming and grinding for high level rarities
- Crypt issues
We will provide more detailed updates once we have solid solution and improvements.
We will continue to review and work on the feedback the community has provided for us to make DragonSoul a fun and enjoyable experience for all.
Team leader of DragonSoul will be also making an appearance to the discourse forum.
The aim of this is to bring back dev discussions so we can communicate with players on a higher technical level about the game and be more transparent with current issues and decisions for certain features.
